As a representative of a Canadian university, I was lucky enough to be invited by The Consulate General of Canada to join them in celebrating CANADA DAY on Friday, 24th of May 2024 in the form of a Canadian-food-and-beverages gathering at the Ballroom, 3/F, JW Marriott Hotel, 88 Queensway, Admiralty.

I believe some of the invited people were wondering why Canada Day celebration was not scheduled in mid or late June as in the past. Some even thought that the invitation was a scam! The mystery was finally revealed by a staff member of the Consulate. The Consulate General will finish her term by the Canada Day and so the Celebration was put forward one month ahead.

Northern Lights as seen in Lunenburg Nova Scotia
The backdrop of the stage is a beautiful photo of Northern Lights as seen in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. In the year 2024, Northern Lights could be seen from many places in Canada. Most likely, Lunenburg was one of the best places.
